Painted River Ranch is located 30 minutes East of Saskatoon. Our 80 ft x 160 ft indoor riding arena and mezzanine has all the features you need for your next private or club event. We also host guest clinics and other equine-related events.

Indoor Arena Rentals and Haul-Ins
You can rent our indoor riding arena near Saskatoon at hourly, daily or weekend rates. Haul-ins are also available and booked in advance to avoid double booking disappointment.
Clinics, Tack Sales and Events
Horsemanship, obstacle and trail, horse and rider therapy and more. Painted River Ranch hosts guest clinics and competitions from many different disciplines.

Show Horse Leases
Painted River Ranch may have just the horse for you and we’ve got a few talented prospects to choose from. All candidates have earned APHA show points, and experienced the show pens in all around events.
A seasonal lease includes board, coaching, training, lessons, hauling, show prep and coaching on show day. Learn what is expected, get those show ring jitters out of the way, and see if showing is the avenue you want to pursue.
Riders care for and maintain their own lease horse who stays with me at the ranch. Learning what is required and the costs associated with owning a show horse. Lease agreements are custom designed to fit each individual leasee interests and needs.
Leasee requires SHF rider insurance, have experienced riding skills, transportation & be confident working with horses. APHA Lease agreements are required to show to earn APHA points. Leasee is required to pass riding evaluations and background record checks.
We have 3 show horses available for lease. You can find them throughout the website.

I took two, back-to-back Obstacle Trail Challanges and a judging clinic with Laura at the Grasswood Horse Park. I was a little worried because I am self-taught rider, with no formal training. Laura put me right at ease. I brought a 4yr old filly that had 34/35 rides on, that I had started in the spring. Laura had so much patience with both Ella and I. Her coaching and encouragement really help both of us going forward.
I am planning to take more clinics from Laura. We had a super group of ladies that took both clinics. And we had such a fun time learning and getting to know each other.
So if you ever get a chance to take a clinic from Laura Martin you really need to do it.
